Publish and maintain your cookie notice
Turn your reviewed inventory into a clear public notice and keep it aligned with production.

Start from the reviewed inventory
Publish only technologies that have an owner, purpose and category confirmed by your team. A scanner finding is evidence to investigate, not a reason to automatically describe an unknown vendor as compliant.
For every listed technology, keep its name, provider, purpose, category and storage duration aligned with the implementation that visitors actually receive.
Make the notice useful
Link to the notice from the banner and preference centre. Use plain language for purposes, explain how choices can be changed and avoid hiding material vendor information behind vague category labels.
- Explain necessary, functional, analytics and advertising purposes.
- Identify third parties and embedded services where relevant.
- State how visitors can reopen or withdraw their choice.
Review after every meaningful change
Treat a new tag, vendor, embedded service or storage mechanism as a notice-review trigger. Compare scheduled scan changes with the published declaration before release, and version the notice when material information changes.
