1. Scope
This notice applies to the public Consentory website and account interface. Customer websites using our widget are operated by separate controllers and must publish their own cookie information.
2. What we mean by technologies
Cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies can store or access information on a device. The exact inventory can change as security and service components are updated; the live preference centre is the authoritative list for optional technologies currently configured on this website.
3. Strictly necessary uses
We use limited storage for authentication, session continuity, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, billing navigation and remembering privacy choices. These functions are required to provide the service requested and are not used for behavioural advertising.
4. Optional uses
- Functional: optional embedded features or saved interface preferences.
- Analytics: measuring service performance and understanding aggregated usage.
- Advertising: campaign measurement or personalised advertising, if ever enabled.
Where consent is required, optional technologies remain inactive until the relevant category is accepted. Categories are not preselected.
5. Managing a choice
The first layer provides accept, reject and settings actions. You can reopen the preference centre from the persistent privacy control, change individual purposes or withdraw consent. A new choice applies to future processing. Some previously stored optional data may require deletion by the relevant provider or through browser controls.
6. Lifetimes and third parties
Session technologies expire when the session ends; persistent technologies have the lifetime shown in the live inventory. Third-party providers may receive device or usage data only when their technology is activated or when strictly necessary to deliver a requested function.
7. Browser signals
Where applicable, we evaluate supported privacy signals alongside the stored preference. A browser signal does not expand a prior choice and will not be treated as permission for an optional purpose.
8. Contact
Questions or requests concerning technologies used by this service can be sent to privacy@consentory.io.
